Who the hell is Rog?

April 10th, 2011

Gamer: I was born just in time to appreciate Pong.

PC Gamer: My childhood fascination with consoles evaporated when the C=64 arrived. Personal Computers are the game machines for me.

Writer: I worked as a games journalist (primarily at Electric Playground) for a number of years, but I would rather create fiction.

Old-School Geek: From the era where being a computer geek meant soldering extra circuit boards and / or mucking around with code, rather than just buying the right gadgets.

Old-School Internet Geek: I’ve been on the ‘net since well before the web. That used to give me some sort of early-adopter street cred, but nowadays it just means that I’m “old”.

Digital Community Guy: I used to run a (multi-line) dialup BBS back in the early 90′s and I still tend to gravitate towards small online communities. I really enjoy MMORPG guilds for instance, they’re kinda the reverse of the big social networks.

Web Developer: I hesitate to mention this, because I no longer enjoy it. Being a web monkey just sucks my soul away.

Opinionated foot-in-mouth guy: The less said about this aspect, the better. =)

Kinky: Shhhh. Not telling.

Game Developer: I’ve dabbled with game design for much of my adult life, including forays into both professional game development and independent personal projects.
