Dungeon Runners Beta
It seems like a giant pile of games in Beta lately, which is always a good thing to look forward to.
Dungeon Runners is sort of a WoW-lite, or as it's often compared to: a Diablo style game. I wouldn't quite classify it as an MMORPG, just like Diablo you only see the general population within town, the rest is instanced either solo or in small parties. There are hints of Guild Wars in there too.
All of the big game name dropping is a bit deceptive tho, this isn't an $80 million dollar project like World of Warcraft was, it's a humble and free offering from NCsoft. That's right, free to play, although an optional paid membership adds features like banking your equipment and jumping to the front of any login queues.
Every aspect of this game seems very familar, but also slimmed down and simplistic. The UI borrows elements from Blizzard's success, while the control scheme is different (takes a little getting used to and still feels very 'beta', I'm sure they'll refine it eventually).
If you're curious, sign up for the Beta yourself, or find a friend to give you an invite-guest-key via their referral program.
